Brandie Delisi Photography Blog
Brandie wanted an Anthropologie inspired blog design, and once she mentioned that- I went off and running with it- here’s the result. A grungey, floral design with some accent “stitching” (because once I saw the promos for Project Runway, I was dying to try that technique on a website.)
Brandie’s wordpress blog features a custom logo, graphics, inline comments and a wide post area for optimal display of her large images. Also added to this tricked out wp custom theme was an automated dropshadow to each of her images. Brandie is an amazingly talented photographer and you just have to go check out some of her work, just breathtaking!

For this project, I once again partnered up with my (very patient!) programming genius friend Xavier from iuttu. Thanks again Xavi for all your hard work and dedication to seeing these projects through! I look forward to many more :)
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to post some updates to the freebies section and I feel awful about that! But fret not, I’ve got a brand new Wordpress theme called Pottery Barnery (also available for Blogger!) for your downloading pleasure.

I’ve also added some wallpapers for your iPhone or iPod to the wallpapers section. I went through a bunch of sites with popular girl names and used the most common ones I can think of but if you want one with your name just drop me an email and I’ll be happy to customize one for you ;) More designs coming soon!
A HUGE thanks to Fernando of Quite Random for helping me make the Wordpress & Blogger Freemades available…he did all the coding so I could continue on working :) I look forward to working with you again soon Fernando!
Cate and Sarah, from Sweetnicks and Sarah’s Cucina Bella respectively- two previous clients of mine decided to join forces and create a product review website from a mom’s perspective called The Voice of Mom. They asked me to customize an existing wp theme and create a logo for their site. Although there was some talk about bathroom icons, ahem, the addition of the little baby kind of made it all work. Or something.
If you are a mom, you will definitely find valuable information here. Go check it out!
Launch Site
I have a few launches to post about and I just can’t wait to share them with you, it’s hard to keep quiet! Unfortunately, there’s still a bit more testing to do before I can link to them. Bummer.
This month has been a busy one! The girls are back to school and my favorite time of year approacheth. Helloooo Jack Skellington! Every year I look forward to October because it’s when I whip out my copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas (now in 3D!) and pretty much play it all through Christmas. Yes, yes I know…I’m kooky like that, lol.
Oh! I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but we are in the middle of selling our house and actively looking for a new place. (I know that sounds backwards, trust me) Anyways, so hard as I try, it’s been tough to keep focused on things when I’ve got :::new kitchen::: :::new office::: :::big soaker tub::: on my mind! Today’s horoscope totally illustrates perfectly what I’m feeling:
You can be a bit unreliable today with your time. It’s not that you can’t finish what you start; it’s simply that your daydreams can get in the way of what needs to happen now. Push yourself by setting up a few appointments in advance, and don’t cancel them after you have made a commitment. Once you have completed your work, give yourself permission to also schedule time for your dreams.
So, I forced myself to send out a ton of follow up emails and reply to many new emails that came in the past couple of days. I tend to get a bit overwhelmed with the volume of emails that come in daily and when I dare to put off replying ONE DAY (stupid germs!) they become this big project that eats up my whole day. Then I walk around with this big old cloud of doom all day. I hate making people wait! I’m glad I did it though because I always feel better in the end when I stop putting things off :)
Anywhoo, it’s been a while since I just had a chance to talk about what’s going on so I’m glad to have had the chance to do that today. Have a great weekend everyone!
